Solved! Old plasma tv with no hdmi

I have an old plasma tv with no hdmi input. We recently got directv and were told by the tech that there was no way to hook it up. It had component video cables and we previously had AT&T Uverse and had no issues. Is there a converter that would solve his problem?

I'd imagine something simple like an HDMI to Component converter would do the trick. They're not terribly expensive

direct tv should have convertor boxes you can buy from them as well. we had 1 for an old tv in a spare room when we last had directv.

at least the guy who installed it for us had some to sell. think we payed $25 or so for the box. otherwise you'll need a 3rd party convertor box like azaran linked to.
