After months of struggling with my laptop after I moved I am just about ready to give up. I cant use my laptop for more than a minute before the Wifi connection goes bad. I use Google Chrome.
Heres what Happens:
1. I use laptop, Wifi connection goes bad.
2. Chrome page says my computer is offlline.
3. I press diagnose error, and it fixes it.
4. Then everything repeats itself.

One of the problem it can't fix says "The conmection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the Internet is broken". Another that DOES get fixed says, "default gateway not available".

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by making sure that the cable going from the modem to the router is properly connected.
- Next is to do a power cycle on both the modem and router.
- Turn them both off for couple of seconds then power them back on and see if that will solve the problem.
- If it will not work, do uninstall/reinstall the Wifi adapter.
- Open Device Manager and uninstall the Wifi adapter.
- Reboot the laptop once the driver has been uninstalled and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- After the reboot do test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- If the problem remains, try disabling the antivirus software installed then test it again.
- Lastly, if all these will not work I would also consider doing a factory reset.

Thank You, I Actually got another response elsewhere and all I had to do was update my driver. At first it said it was updated, but with a scan I found one and that seemed to do the trick.
