Onkyo NR717 Doesn't Show NET Screen on TV

I hooked up my Onkyo NR717 yesterday and it was working fine...menu showed up and I connected to Pandora and played mucic with no issue. Went to turn it on this morning and hit net and everything was frozen. Couldn't move through the menu or anything. Turned it off and on and not the NET menu to select an app doesn't even come up. However, if I leave it there long enough the screen saver (generated from the receiver) comes up. If I select any other mode or go to the menu it shows fine on the screen .. .just not NET. Any ideas?

Try resetting the receiver (on my 626 it's Zone2 + PowerUp). Check for any firmware updates.

That worked.. however, it won't connect to a network now.. wired or wireless. Was connected to with the same cable, port..everything as before. During initial setup just says no connection for both.. ?
