Only the front speakers on my 5.1 setup are playing

When testing the speakers in the asus rog software, and in windows sound configurator, the speakers work fine. However when listening to music on spotify or watching youtube, it is only the front speakers that are playing.

Since music is almost always stereo you would need surround processing to make it into pseudo 5.1 Check the ROG audio drivers for a mode for 2.0 to 5.1 playback
