open drive asus

I've just bought an asus x-series notebook laptop. It says that it has an optical dvd drive and there is one located on the right hand side of the laptop but there is no eject button. I have gone into my computer to find the dvd drive and open it that way but it doesn't give me this option. Any ideas?

Hi, maybe your model doesn't have an optical drive, what is your model number, the whole number.
