I have the exact same problem, the manual says there's an eject button but there isn't.

Your laptop doesn't have a disc drive - it only has a plastic mould to fill the space to allow you to add one later. I assume this has been done to keep the cost down.

I have the Toshiba satellite c50d b 120 it is what I am using now , if there is no button on the side on the optical disk drive like mine, you have not got an optical disk drive , if you unscrew the battery and the screw holding the cover where the optical disk drive should be , you'll find it is just a cover and you have to buy the optical disk drive separate unfortunately. you can buy a usb optical disk drive on something like amazon , or e bay for about 10 pounds depending on which one you would like, and it plugs in to the usb port.
