Opening port 3569

In order for Battlefield 4 to work, I opened port 3569 in my firewall.
I just wanted to know if it's safe?

Why would you need to do that? I haven't had to open a port to play an online game in like ten years. You dont have uPNP on your router? I would imagine its safe if you are sure its the proper port but you shouldn't have to open it in the first place.

I thought so too, but Battlefield kept crashing with the message: "Client Closed down connection, Open port 3659 and try again." I thought it was really weird too. But I couldnt find an alternative.
