Hi!

I tried to install the optane memory driver , but it immediately pops up an error that my cpu is unsupported and it needs 7th gen or newer. I have a 9th gen cpu , and the bios was updated yesterday , so i dont know why im getting that error.
Please if you have any idea , share it with me :)

Thanks!

from your other thread, it https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z370-F-GAMING/specifications/
*4 Intel® Optane Technology only supported when using 7th Generation Intel® Processors. Before using Intel® Optane memory

probably support 8 gen too
might need to wait for another bios update to get 9th

I can see the possibility that they are still not created a bios update for optane (9th gen support update came out in july tho), but that error message im getting makes no sense, if the bios is not supporting optane with 9th gen cpu,why am i not getting that kind of error like most people do :p
I got a 32gig m.2 stick , i7 9700k, and rog z370-f as u said. :)
