OS not installed in my Laptop

Hello,

perviesly i installed windows xp in laptop now i want to reinstall windows xp, so i formatted harddisk and to start installation process error will appear Error msg: please check if harddisk is terminated or scsi is disable or not.

how can i solve this problem

I suspect that in the first stages of install when Windows install asked if you wanted to install drivers you confirmed. But these are drivers for SCSI and other esoteric stuff -- if this hardware is not actually present (and SCSI is seldom, if ever, used in laptops) it will create confusion.

Try again.

Check BIOS settings for hard drive.

i had the same problem it turned out that my hard drive was loss and not in place have you checked that ?
