Hi

I got this new ASUS ROG 702vm with spec:

120 Hz 17.3"
i7 7700HQ 2.8 - 3.8Ghz
16 GB DDR4 2400 Mhz
GTX 1060 6GB DDR5

Its great - really great laptop! BUT

While playing Battlefield 1, it gets hot. Around 80, and sometimes 90 degress cel on both GPU and CPU. Is that normal for this kind of laptop, and how does its components react over time whit this kind of heat?
I guess now days the components can handle the heat?

My settings for Battlefield 1 is:

Auto (Medium settings)
120 hz 1080p

I have tried to undervolt it to -0,110 but that doesnt do much. I also put it to 99% usgeage CPU so it doesnt use boost.

If it is new and it is heating up to that temp, that is high. I would personally consider returning it and getting them to give you another, or get a different on or contact the manufacturer about a repair/replacement.
