Pal to ntsc conversion

Accidentally bought a cd video on ebay that turns out to be for PAL only. Of course it doesn't work on my cld-v5000 pioneer player. Found out that there are 2 players that can switch between pal and ntsc, but are hard to find. The v5000 is supposed to play cd video, but only mentions a disc of 5 in. This one that I got is 12in like a laser disc. Noticed that there are some converters for pal to ntsc, but now sure if I should take a chance and sink more funds into a possilble deadend project. Live and learn I suppose.

Any advice or solutions.

Converter will not help as the output of the player will be video. Best option is too rip that CD video into your computer, convert it to video file, and then burn it as an NTSC disc.
