My TV will not turn on. I bought a new lamp for it a few months ago and all the sudden it started turning off on its own after 10 seconds. Now it wont even turn on at all. The green light will show and then the red light just blinks after it tries to turn on. What seems to be the problem?

Did you reset your lamp timer when you replaced it? If not, try that first. Other issue could very well be a bad lamp.

To reset a panasonic lamp timer: unplug your set (safely) Leave it for 30 seconds so any residual power left in the capacitors can drain.
1. Plug the set in
2. Hold the Volume Down & PIP buttons on the remote for at least 5 seconds as the set is powering up.
3. Verify the on screen prompt says Lamp Timer Was Set To 0.

If your lamp timer was more than 10k hours, it will take up to 5 minutes to reset.

I am currently in the process of purchasing a new lamp. However to reset the timer, I do not have the remote, is that a problem. What else can I do?
