I have a 4dtv receiver and have just purchased a Pansat 2500A FTA receiver.
I am told that I should be able to receive upwards of 75 to 100 channels
on the KU side of the T5 satellite. I have been able to receive 7 channels
but have tried everything and just can't seem to pick up any additional
channels. Should I get my dish (10 foot ) aligned or the fact that I
received 7 channels tell me it is OK? My 4DTV has a c Band and a KU Band
LNB. Any suggestions as to what I should do?

You must scan each polarity. 7 chs tell me you may be close, But Ku
needs to be precise. Especialy on a 10 ft dish. Better peaking, skew and
alignment may be needed. The Pansat may not have all the newer freqs in
it. You may want to "blind search" both polarities when you get all
aligned.

Did you scan both polarities? This could be your problem
