HP envy M6 1105dx bought in 2013 in USA.
WIN 10, upgraded from WIN 8
I removed and replaced laptop keyboard in a cleaning project and after reassembly, many of the keys on the keyboard no longer work. I tried cleaning contact and reassembling carefully with no success. External keyboard works fine.
The following keys still work.

On main keyboard:
"esc" ` 1 2 6 7 "tab" y a s h j z x m "crl" (both sides)

On Keypad: 8 9 + 1 2 3

Device monitor recognizes keyboard and drivers are up to date.
Suggestions welcome. Replacement keyboard hard to locate.

Solution
If you can't replace the keyboard, you are stuck. Since you changed nothing else in the system aside from removing the keyboard, either the keyboard is bad or the motherboard connections are bad.
