Password PIN number

My Asus laptop stopped letting me use my PIN number to log in and I forgot my regular password I don't know what to do?

It is against forum rules to help anyone bypass passwords as that information can then be used to hack into stolen computers.
Thus only basic (pretty much useless) information like the link posted above can be given.
