Password trouble loggins

I have an acer aspire 15 laptop. Screen powers up but when I try typing in my password, it starts duplicating numbers and letters and comes up invalid. I’ve tried the reboot thing and others suggested to no success. Help asap

Try connecting an external keyboard while the laptop is turned off. Then turn it on and use the external keyboard to type. If the attached keyboard is the problem, that should allow you to get passed that screen. You will still need to figure out the issue with the attached keyboard though.

Also, try enabling your on-screen keyboard and using it to access Windows. Could be a driver issue that a full restart of Windows will help resolve.
