Pc and tv is connect by rca cable but no sound from tv

I recently set up my plasma with my PC as a secondary monitor, working in clone mode.
The video carrying from DVI(pc) to VGA(TV) works fine however the audio jack to RCA doesn't seem to carry the audio to the TV. I tested the cables on another device and they worked fine.

I could not find any options in the settings controls on the TV to connect the RCA audio channel to the RGB channel simultaneously. If I select "av" it picks up the sound, but obviously that channel is separate from the vga channel.

The tv is an LG 50PA4500

your TV has a pc audio input, cheers
but to answer why its not working the way you have it set up is, well you already answered it, they are 2 seperate inputs

Yeah, damn. Should have looked a little harder before buying cables haha. Cheers man.
