Hi,

I've noticed that if my receiver is off when pc boots up, I do not have an option to choose surround sound settings in control devices with Stereo being as only choice. If I boot pc after receiver is turned on, then I get to choose it my surround 5.1 option. It is quite annoying and think something might be wrong here.
Any suggestions how to fix it?

Unless your receiver is on when the PC boots it doesn't get a "handshake" over the HDMI cable and defaults to stereo. Don't think you can change this. Either leave the receiver on or turn it on before booting up the PC.

then it's quite terrible. Also because if i turn off tv or use TV instead PC, it goes back to stereo only in windows. I doesn't feel so appealing to reboot pc every time i want to use 5.1 system. There should be some solution to reset the signal. I think it might be windows problem more than anything
