Pc Is Slow???

So, a year ago MineCraft runned perfectly like 30-45 fps. Then months later my mom got a virus on it, we removed it but now ever since then, MineCraft has ran below 10 frames. Is there anything I can do to get the laptop back to its original state.

If you got a CD or USB key or something of an OS, you can format it and start over again. The virus will be deleted.
