pc Subwoofer bassport rattling

I have a boytone bt210fd and the subwoofer bassport is making an occasional rattle noise. Sounds like its blowing its nose. It isnt coming from the sub and when I go to the end of the power cord, I press it against the system, and the noise lessens. Almost as if the power cord was lose, although it doesnt seem lose, when I press it in, the noise goes away. Need help

If you there's kids around, someone might have put something inside the bassport? Try moving it around and see if something is stuck inside?

No kids, My speakers are brand new and I have a warranty but I dont want to go through the hassle of sending it back to be replaced. When I put pressure on the power cord, the sound goes away.

Short of opening it up and finding the rattle's source, I suggest getting it replaced. If the issue is inside the subwoofer, then you will ruin your warranty by opening it up.

The issue might simply be a piece that has become unglued in the bassport or cicuit board, but if you don't manage to solve it, then your warranty is gone.

If you clean regularly and don't leave food sources around it shouldn't be an issue.... Most that were like that was because of too much cat or dog food lying around. I personally find it less horrifying than some TVs with 4-5 inches thick of sticky orange-brown dust inside, because of smoking.
Smoking kills you, and your electronics.

I got it on August 21st. I have a one yr warranty from the manufacturer, and I have an extended 3yr warranty from Amazon. I worry that if I send it to them to fix it, they may sound test it, and send it back. Since the noise is only once in a while. I planned to return it only if the noise got worse and more frequent.

But your right, it is most likely something lose. The plug is right on the side of the bassport. And it does sometimes sound like the bassport is blowing its nose.

This is another thing. I may have to pay for shipping. I had defaulty side satalite speaker, and the manufacturer sent me a replacement. I was able to work with them. But in this case I would have to send them the entire unit.

Most likely, I would deal directly with the manufacturer than Amazon, because Amazon will tell me to send them the entire unit, and I would have to re-order it brand new and I may have the same problem over again.

Based off my dealings with the manufacturer, Im assuming, that if the problem becomes worse or very noticeable, that I wont have to pay for shipping.

But like I say, if they were to sound test it, they may not encounter the problem since it happens every so often. I would have to wait till its happening every day and all day.

It only happens after an hr of listening to music. It sux because this system sounds so gorgeous. I hate that some simple soldering problem is causing a noise issue. The product has so much potential, its insane.
