PC to HDTV - blank screen!

Hi there,
Frustrated here. Hoping someone will be able

to help me.

When I connect my ACER Aspire PC (Model:

AM3450-UR30P) to my Polaroid HDTV (model:

FXM-3211C) I just get a black screen!

I see that the computer initializes and that

Windows starts up, but then nothing. What do I

need to do? (It does work in Safe Mode -but

otherwise no). Please help.

Boot up in safe mode and then try different resolutions until you find the one closest to your TV's native resolution that works.

Is there a display utility on your laptop? For example if you have a VGA monitor, projector, etc plugged in you would use that to switch between the different display types... maybe once windows is loaded and this utility and/or driver is loaded you might need to use it to switch from on-screen display to the HD

Is it possible that your connection cable not working? Maybe considering change another HDMI cable, if you use HDMI cable.
