If my computer has a vga connection and my tv has 3 rca connections, will a vga to 3 rca cable work for video?

Solution
VGA only handles the video signal. For audio, hook up the red/white rca cables to your TV. With the limited information given, I'm assuming that the TV uses red/white(audio) and yellow(video) inputs. For that, you need a video converter box; http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011407&p_id=4722&seq=1&format=2

If your TV uses composite video inputs (green, blue, red), you will need a converter box like this; http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_...ed above. Happy converting, the Prisoner...
