Since Microsoft still dominates the OSes used on desktops and laptops, I am sure their decision to limit the hardware allowed in order to use Windows XP will hurt this market also. Touch and/or inking interfaces are excellent choices for 7" and 10" screens and would make the user experience all the much better. (Heck, I'm planning on hacking my Eee PC now that I have an HP TX2120US to use for school.)
