PCMCIA ejection stick broken on Presario notebook

Hello,

We have some Compaq Presario notebooks. They are model R3306US. One of
them
recently had the PCMCIA ejection button/stick broken. Is there a
replacement part available for this? I talked to Compaq and they want
$300 to fix it, which seems like a lot.

The only replacement part might come from a junk laptop; on some models,
the PC card cage can be changed, on others it cannot. You have to take
one apart to find out.
