Ph x2 555 unlock to 12MB L3 cache?

It only occurred to me after having tried to unlock mine and it didn't....

"7MB total cache" (2x512mb + 6mb shared)
IF/when the 555 were unlocked, would it also unlock additional cache? Or does the x2-configuration already utilize all available cache on-chip?

It already uses all the cache thats there see the specs at http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUDetail.aspx?id=624&f1=&f2=&f3=&f4=&f5=&f6=&f7=&f8=&f9=&f10=&f11=&f12=
It would have 4 x 512mb L2 cache though if the cores unlocked
