just wondering if y'all have anything to say/suggest about the LG VX6100
(looked at phonescoop, but there were only two reviews of the 6100) or
CDM9900? i am leaning towards these two, unless you can reocommend a better
choice?

i was almost leaning towards the CDM8910 because it supports J2ME, but
didn't see a lot of great reviews about it..

anyways, looking for a verizon phone (switching over from at&t)
want: good reliable phone w/analog, speakerphone, voicememo
would be fun to have: j2me, camera

why does verizon use BREW? instead of j2me? off topic question, was just
wondering.

thanks in advance for any replies =)

Both of these should work for you. The CDM9900 would have been the
'bigger bang for your buck', but Verizon has sold all they had and
there is difficulty in importing more do to production problems.

The 9900 has the ability to make lots of 15 second voicememos with its
5 MB of storage for such files. These can be moved to various folders
just like on your PC. They can be used as ringers or just for keeping
track of various notes when you do not have the time to write stuff
down.

The 9900 is a tri mode phone.

It has a kick donkey speaker mounted on the back side of the phone near
the top of the flip. This is a puzzel to me since the speaker is so
loud anyway why would anyone want to broadcast the other side of the
phone call across the room for others to hear?

The 9900 is so loud you can hear it several rooms away in a quite house
when the volume is set to max.

Does this help?
