pics from my camera memory card to my laptop wont be seen

I have transferred some pics from my camera memory card to my PC using the card reader device. The photos are in my laptop but cannot be seen. Unfortunately when I transferred my pics I deleted them from the camera, so I have them now only on my laptop. Is the first time happening this, before I always used the cable for transfer and all went fine, except this only time when I used the card reader directly into laptop. The pics are all jpg format and my camera is Sony Cybershot. If someone can help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

BUT DO NOT take anymore pictures with your camera. Most of Sony's Cybershot series cameras are capable of photo recovery. Sony has a photo recovery web page via a 3rd party developer that helps to assist Cybershot users with retrieving their lost photos. If you click on the link I have provided below it will direct you to that site and you can get started right away! Hopefully I could be of some assistance to you. Please, let me know how everything goes. I know it can be frustrating.

Hi, thanks for this, it will work but it costs some money which I would not pay - is too big amount for such thing, mainly that I have the pics is just I cannot see them; maybe there is another solution.....
