Hi ,please help.I bought cassette deck Pioneer ct-f1250 ,it's my first deck .And I think something wrong. When I do recording, the level of sound cutting half and treble little lower. So when I operate switch ''source and tape'' Heard a big difference. Also I don't know how use tape calibrator and how to do calibration.and how much does this affect for recording. And my question again about different sound level ,I think it should the same i mean source and tape sound. Please someone explain to me.
Thanks

Check tape selection. Clean heads. De-magnetise heads. Replace heads ?

I'm guessing this deck is quite old -- cassette decks were not built to last nor are they easy to repair or source spares for.
