Pioneer vsx-1122-k 7 1 problem

I have the blu-ray movie with 7.1 dolby digital source, also have all speakers connect to the receiver(front, center, surround, fw/fh). The setting in the receiver is normal(sb/fw) with the sb off. But when i play the moive, the receiver indicator only show 5.1 for the speaker instead of 7.1. Did i connect anything wrong?

If you have SB off, it will default to 5.1, no reason to decode the SB if they're off.
