pioneer vsx d810s how do i connect it to my phone

i have an old pioneer vsx d810s and i want to connect my phone to the pioneer.
so i can use my iPhone to choose the music. Any suggestions will be very helpful!
will a HAMA 6,3 mm to 3,5 mm adapter work on the phones jack of the pioneer?

It will cost more than a cable, but I would probably get a bluetooth receiver to pair the phone with. Something like this -- https/www.amazon.com/Etekcity-Wireless-Bluetooth-Receiver-NFC-Enabled/dp/B00KXYXXK2 Wire that into one of the RCA inputs like DVD, CD, AUX then pair your phone with it.
