I have a Panasonic TH-42PWD4 42" Plasma Television with a serious red tint when watching video from any input. This tint does NOT show up when in menu. Any idea what component would cause this?

If I had to take a stab in the wind I would say that your DG board is going south... Open her up and check the cable that runs from the DG board to the D-board and make sure its tight. DG board failures fairly common on the Pana's

please keep in mind that I am no tv repairman as you read my response...

I pulled the back cover to do as you said. I have been crossing the numbers on the boards to determine what they are (by searching the internet). Of all of the bigger boards, nothing comes back as a DG board. I have a power supply board, ss board, j board, d board, and a sc board. Also, several smaller boards that I did not research yet. This tv was formerly used as a lobby monitor at a tv station (just showed their logo all the time). Could this be some different (commercial?) type of tv? Any more suggestions or ideas?

thanks,
John
