Well most theaters have 15+ minutes of commercials before the movie starts so this would be alot more fun however existing theatre owners could see their revenue go down for commercials.

I bet this would be expensive for 1/2 hour play but really cool. I would like to see those LCD but use LED now, glasses with screens in the glasses. You could think you were at the theater as far as size goes.

So that's great for the person playing, but what about the other 200 people that are in there??? The Cinema's would make more money with 30 people watching a movie over a few playing a game!

Only problem being there is no 5870x2, so you'll have to put up with 4 x 5870 crossfire!

Microsoft did this for Halo 3 when it came out. Sony, get with the times already.

My local theatre rents out empty rooms for those who want to game on the big screen... not cheap.
Nothing new however.
