I just ditched my Viewsonic V36 and went with an HP 3115 - great decision!
Now I am faced with a new dillema. I am trying to play music from a shared
mp3 directory on my pc (via wireless). I can see the directory and files
within from my ppc, I just cant seem to get them to open up. Can't add them
to a playlist either. Is there some sort of service I need to be running or
do I need to change my file permissions or whatnot?

Thanks

You might look on your CD that came with your HP 3115 for a program called
Resco File Explorer this program will enable you to do what you want, play
files on a shared drive. If you don't have Resco there are a two free
program also, that will do this. Note that by adding a shared folder over
Wi-Fi that your device might appear to hang as some program scan the share
folder for any programs they can open.

That is exactly the answer I was seeking! Thank you. I do have a copy of
Resco File Explorer - was installed on my V36, haven't put it on the HP yet.
You mentioned that the Wi-Fi share could be slow, is this type of share
available via bluetooth as well? If so is BT better/faster than Wi-Fi?

Thanks again for the help!
