i have a proline 1764 laptop...when it powers up it takes me to a screen that says press delete for setup..i press delete and then it says entering setup as well as gives me the pcu specs,...ram check..initializing usb controllers done..there it hangs and wont enter bios so i can choose a boot drive to install windows

Remove the hard drive, see if it boots to BIOS then. If not, try one stick of RAM at a time or different RAM.
