$1500 USD budget. Country: Chile.
I'm going to answer some questions to myself to clear out some things and to be precise:
-Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply.-
In this particular order, I prefer: FPS in videogames (performance), best specs. for the money, quality of the screen (includes the Hz), portability and battery life.
-How important is weight and thinness to you?-
Thinness would be nice, but weight matters more than that. Total FPS in games is over all of that anyway.
-Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux.-
I don't really care as long as performance is good, but I usually prefer Windows.
-Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.-
N/A
-Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.-
Just gaming and document editing. As an example: Squad (videogame), Post Scriptum (videogame), FarCry 5 (videogame), PUBG (videogame), Microsoft Office.
-If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?-
Squad, Post-Scriptum, Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, World of Warcraft, Riding Storm 2, Rust, Overwatch, Dark Souls 3. I tend to prefer between very high and ultra (max) graphics, between 50-60+ FPS.
-Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?-
A nice keyboard that doesn't feel extremely plastic. Build quality would be nice as well.
-Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.-
I fear thermal throttling. I want to know how reliable g-sync is, and if an Nvidia 1060 6gb (max-q) with a 120hz display and g-sync laptop is better in terms of FPS than a laptop with a regular 1060 6gb and no g-sync with a 60hz screen.

Which laptop would be better in terms of performance? I'm having a hard time choosing between an HP OMEN 15 with 1060 6gb Max-Q, Intel Core i5 7300 HQ, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 120hz screen and g-sync AND a Dell Inspiron 15 5577 Gaming with an Intel Core i7 7700 HQ, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB Max-Q, 60hz screen and no g-sync. I have a third option: the Acer Predator Helios 300, with a full Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB (not Max-Q), Intel Core i5 7300HQ, 8GB of RAM (or 12, depends on the model) and a 60hz screen. I don't know if it features g-sync, but I'm assuming it does not (I'm 99% sure it doesn't). I'd really appreciate some help. I always privilege FPS over everything, but the 120hz screen on the OMEN and g-sync are troubling me. What would be better? A 120hz, g-sync screen (HP OMEN 15), an i7 CPU and 16GB RAM (Dell) or a full (not max-q) 1060 6gb card?
One question aside. Is the 1060 3gb really worth it? There are some machines with this card, but I'm afraid performance might take a big hit. Plus it seems it's not even a regular 3gb 1060, but a max-q 3gb 1060. Please help!
