Hello,

I have a low budget to spend for a gaming laptop to use when I am away from home and I found 2 at the same price in Japan (80,000yen which is around 420 GBP / 650 USD / 590 EUR) but I would really appreciate someone's opinion on which one would be the best. The games I am currently playing are DA Inquisition, The Witcher 3, Shadow of Mordor etc. I don't play online games and I am not interested in playing on high resolution as I can do that on my desktop pc. Basically low is okay as long as I can get stable 30 fps.

The computers I found are:

MSI CX61-2QF-1614JP
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
CPU: i3-4100M 2.50GHz
VGA: NVIDIA GeForce 940M
Motherboard: HM86 Express
RAM: 4gb
Monitor: 15.6 inch (resolution 1366x768)
HDD: 1TB SATA

MCJ LB-I5450G84
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
CPU: i5-4210M 2.60GHz
VGA: NVIDIA GeForce GT840M
Motherboard: HM86 Express
RAM: 4gb (Expandable till 16gb)
Monitor: 15.6 inch (resolution 1920x1080)
HDD: 500GB ATA

I would like to add that I own a good gaming desktop in my house but I would like to play some games when I'm away from home (which is basically 2 days a week, every week for the next 9 months).

Thank you in advance to anyone who is going to giving me advices :)

Thank you velo, so I should not opt for the one with a better graphic card? is the game going to work with low settings on the second one in your opinion?

I also found a better option which is still under 500 pound and has the graphic card of the first laptop and the cpu of the second plus 8gb of ram. In your opinion would there be any major difference if I purchase this third model? If not I would rather get the second one as you suggested instead.

Thank you

I would go with the third model as you have the newer gpu which should give better fps than the second and still have the i5 cpu. But make sure that the screen is decent. There is nothing worse in a laptop where the specs are good but is let down by a poor screen.
