Please help. My pictures have moved to dcim

My phone broke so i took the memory card out and have put it in my samsung tab 3 but less than half are showin in my gallery the rest i have to access by selecting my files then sdcard then dcim then camera. .. how do i move them so i can acess them via gallery? Please help

DCIM is the correct place for pictures, you don't want to move them. Go into the options of the Tab 3 and select the SD card location as a place it searches for pictures in.
