Solved! plug audio cable into iphone 6 and external cassette recorder

I am a private investigator and I need a setup to record witness telephone interviews using my iPhone 6 and an external microcassette or digital recorder. I need an audio cable that has a male TRRS jack on one end for the iPhone and a standard 3.5 jack on the other end for the recorder.

Any reason why you don't just stay digital and record with the iphone?

Search on Amazon for TRRS male to trs male and you will find different items to serve your needs.

Another reason to skip analog - Once you plug said cable into the phone, you'll no longer hear the conversation, you have to find a way to listen thru the recorder.
