Hi
I have HP laptop Pavilion G7-1272NR with 2*B950 2.1 GHz Intel Pentium processors,17.3" LED HD,6GB SDRAM DDR-3.I want to know the difference between my precessor and one laptop with Intel Core i3/i5 on speed and graphics? Is it possible to change and upgrade the processor with 2nd generation i3/i5 or i7 on laptop?

Thanks alot. But I have another question that what about customizable Hp laptops that available on Hp official site? Will they configure with specific Bios when we order them, because there is no item about Bios in the order list?May be they configure processors with relevant Bios,Is that true?

The general rule with laptops is to order them with the specs you want. The majority of laptops are not designed to be upgrade, and the ones that can be are generally $2,000+. Also, a lot of them have the CPU's soldered to the motherboard. Personally, I always consider laptops disposable computers for once they get outdated, it's cheaper and easier to buy a new one then trying to upgrade, well outside of the RAM and hard drive.
