Solved! Port in computer plugged in but not sensed

My external hard disk not recognised. This I got after getting a message unknown software installed. Any solutions!

Check the drive in a different computer. If it installs correctly there then its probably a driver issue with your computer. If that's the case go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers for the external drive directly from them. If it doesn't work in the new computer than its a problem with the harddrive. That can usually be fixed by reformatting the drive.
