positioning errors nightly

I only know one other 4Dtv user in the neighborhood,
we're both having the same problem only recently:

Overnight, the sat positions go "off". The numbers we've
both recorded as positions are correct .... moving to
G1, for example, the dish moves to the right place by
the count, but its positioning is off, and has to be reset
daily. (then, the next morning those positions have to be
reset, as well as the skew numbers)

If either of us doesn't turn the receiver off (no downloading
of the guide), this doesn't happen.

Anyone else experiencing this recently?

There should be a bare stranded wire in the actuator bundle. Connect
that wire to the ground lug an the 4DTV back panel and see what happens.
It will act as a drain, so there is no need to connect the other end to the
actuator.
