Possible Processor Upgrades for Gateway P-7807u FX Edition

I am thinking of buying the Gateway P-7807u FX edition for $1241 but i have read that the processor is not very well equipped for what i want. The processor that it comes with is the Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor1 P8600. Is this processor any good and if not, what should i buy as an upgrade?

It's a dual core CPU based on Intel Core2 architecture. Clocked at 2.4ghz, it'll be fine for any game on the market. It's a pretty good match for the 9800M GTS in that system.
