Possible to get 7.1 surround sound on Wireless Stereo Headphones?

I was thinking on buying the Sennheiser RS 165 for PC Gaming ( I don't really need a mic built in so...) but noticed that it was only stereo. My question is, can I get surround sound with this headphones via sound card or whatever is possible.


My last resort would be the: Logitech G930

The g930 does not have a pin socket plug. Just stereo.

I know that, I'm asking if I can simulate 7.1 on stereo headsets without 7.1

You can't simulate 7.1 on them at all.

razer virtual surround http://www.razerzone.com/surround can likely do this for you. it should work for any headset or headphones.

a soundcard which supports virtual surround should be able to do this as well. the xonar dg or u3 for example.

its rather obvious you cannot get "true" surround on stereo headphones, however virtual is the next best thing and is used on most of the so-called surround sound headsets you see around.
