Solved! Power a Fusion Gaming headphones mic stopped working.

Great headphones for a decent price but has a small length 3.5mm male to male jack being only 43 inches so I purchased a 10 foot Male to male 3.5 mm aux cable and the microphone stopped working, anyone got any ideas?
