power light blinking continuously

my acer v7 -481p laptop's power light is blinking blue continuously, whether it is on or off charge

Is it on Stand by mode?
Or did it enter this blinking mode while playing a game coz mostly when playing heavy intensive games due to heat the Laptop goes to stand by mode itself.
Keep pressing the power key till it switches off(give it a try)

it was not on standby mode. it was on and i was doing normal stuff, like browsing. It started blinking the moment i switched it on and kept on blinking till i restarted it, then it became normal.
