laptop won't boot up, power light blinking

What kind of laptop is it? Did you try popping out the battery for a few minutes and then replacing it to see if that made a difference?

Compaq R3000, i did and there is no power after i connect it to the adapter

when i remove the battery and connect the adapter no light

The only other thing that I can think of is to pop the memory and the hard drive to reseat them. Other than that, you may have a dead laptop.
