PowerJack completly broken

Hello friends

i have an old laptop accer aspire 4741 G - i5 with nice specs

but one day fell down and the ''plastic around powerjack '' and '' powercack '' completly destroyed !!

I use this laptop without battery so i did the folowing:

'' i cut the head of the charger wire that fits in powerjack '' and

''connected it with the wires that comes directly from motherboard''
(avoiding the broken powerjack)

I was using this laptop like this , but after long period of time it Shuts Down without warning

And now 90 % ot times , it shut down just when i log in to windows any idea ???

Hi,

I wouldn't suggest that kind of setup to others because it may short circuit the whole laptop and just cause more damage. A new charger would settle you around $50 that would save you more money in the future.
