Predator laptop losing WiFi range

I own an Acer Predator Helios 300. Recently I had sent it for repairs because it wouldn't switch on due to a motherboard issue. When I got it back everything worked fine except the WiFi. It would constantly lose range even within a few feet of my router. Sometimes it wouldn't connect at all. What could be the problem?
Can I fix it myself? Please help!

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your laptop's motherboard? Might want to uninstall and reinstall your wireless adapter's drivers and see if that resolves the issue.

Yes, I am on the latest version...and yes i have reinstalled my wireless adapter drivers....This problem started only after the repair guy opened up my laptop....Could it be a hardware issue?
