My hard drive crashed recently & so I had to get a new one. I installed Quickbooks Pro 2012 on my hard drive & since doing so, I have had nothing but problems ever since. I am running Windows XP Pro.

On my old hard drive, QB Pro 2012 sent invoices to my clients via Outlook Express without an issue. It worked flawlessly!

Since installing QP Pro 2012 on my new hard drive, I've had nothing but problems. When I first opened Quickbooks & tried to email an invoice, I got an error message saying: Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact Microsoft support for further assistance. (0x80004005). My computer has a 500GB hard drive the has over 400GB free & 4GB RAM.

So I went to Quickbooks website & read different solutions. I tried doing a complete uninstall, using their tool to remove all traces of Quickbooks from my system as well as running my registry cleaners to remove any traces from my system. I then reinstalled Quickbooks & am having even more problems than before!

If I try to click on the email preferences tab, Quickbooks crashes with this error message:

//This is QuickBooks configuration File. It exists while users are connected..// to a company file. Do not delete this file yourself. QuickBooks may not..// operate correctly IF you manually delete this file...[NetConnect]..EngineName=QB_data_engine_22..FilePath=C:\Progra m Files\Intuit\Kim's Critter Care.QBW..ServerMode=2..FileConnectionGuid=a194633 a6d794893b3a711e9e6b076d1.....

Can anyone help me with this problem? Quickbooks website offers me no helpful solutions & I need this program to work!

Thanks for the tip. However, I have uninstalled QB & reinstalled it a couple of times in an effort to fix the issue. I follow QB's directions for doing a clean uninstall & then reinstall--no luck.
