Hello,
IT department has replaced Windows 7 with XP on my laptop and the system is now performing unanted reboots. Any idea why system keeps restarting?

Solution
on the boot screen for bios, press f8. can you start windows through safe mode? if you can, load windows and try a system restore. this will restore any problems that windows may have caused e.g. startup settings. if this does not work, you will have to go back to the IT department to get them t sort it out. It may be a simple case of reinstalling the OS.
